There r 2 ways of Pursuing M.TECH1ST THE general way 2 yrs course with 4 semester (which u r late )2nd way is M.Tech (through Research Mode) (the way PHD is done )in this mode there r no writen examinationref="https://forum.tuteehub.com/tag/student">students has to write the thesis & submit he same to the universityafter the thesis has been submitted , ref="https://forum.tuteehub.com/tag/student">student may be called for viva voce& if found satisfactorythe degree of M.tech through research mode is awarded to the ref="https://forum.tuteehub.com/tag/student">studenthere r very few universities in India offering this Mode of M.TechI WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS RESEARCH DEGREEAS FAR AS MCA IS concerned i would recommend PGDCA before McAMCA IS A HIGHEST degree in the feild of...

MTech would be better as its more "development role" oriented and hence in line with what you study in MSc SC. MCA is applicaton oriented like the normal admin tasks and hence can go with MSc(IT).
