CFA is a certification and MBA is a degree. As you have graduated from IIT, it would be logical enough to work for few years and explore the industry. Gain some experience. Then, explore various aspects of Finance. If you get a good job in finance then grab it. Learn at work and try to clear CFA Level 1. All the best.
