No, Maths is not required for MBA. But, for government colleges, you need to know Maths. So, Maths could be an option.

No, it is not mandatory. You can do MBA if you are a graduate in any field.

It's definitely not compulsory to opt for maths in order to pursue a career in commerce and later go for MBA. But as it is said, Rome wasn't built in a day. IIMs only accept CAT scores and for CAT, your quant (maths) needs to be very strong. Make sure even when you don't opt for maths, you should be able to practise it during CAT preparations. All the best.
