Having an appropriate degree: 1)Teaching requires different levels of degree depending upon the level of middle or high school teaching. Primary school teaching requires Ted. (Diploma in teaching education), a 2-year Diploma programme having a 12th pass as a minimum qualification. If this is equivalent to the Diploma you have done, you are eligible to start teaching as a primary school teacher. 2) One should go for various teacher training courses to join primary or high schools apart from having a graduation degree. PTT (Primary Teacher Training): These tests are conducted for the aspirants who wants to join primary schools (class 1 to 5) for teaching. This is a 2-year regular programme for being a PRT teacher. One should be 12th pass as minimum qualification to be eligible for this programme. Regards.
