Muzzamil, you will be able to do that as first year syllabus for all engineering streams is same and after first year the syllabus changes and branch specific course start. So, you can take lateral entry in B.Tech 2nd year on basis of your diploma. Some institutes give admission on basis of LEET exam and some give admission on basis of your marks in diploma. Some institutes also offer scholarships on basis of your marks in previous qualification. Check the websites of some institutes for more details. Good luck.

Yes, you can do B.Tech in CSE after completing Diploma in Electronics and telecommunications. After completing your 3 year diploma course, if you want to get admission in the second year of B.Tech directly , you have to give the Lateral entry examinations like JELET, which are conducted by the state boards. Based on the rank in those examinations you can get admission for B.Tech in CSE in reputed institutions in the second year, directly. I hope this helps.
