No, you are not eligible. 10+2 with PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) is the basic requirement to take admission in the Engineering programme. The percentage required in qualifying exam is 60% and JEE Mains for most of the engineering institutes. However, the required percentage criterion depends on the college. IITs consider JEE Advanced. There are several entrance exams in India at national and state level. Among them, JEE Main is the most sought-after engineering entrance test. Some private institutes like BITS Pilani, VIT, LPU University etc. conduct their separate entrance tests. Top colleges are: DTU BITS College of Engineering, Pune Lovely Professional University Hindustan Institute of Engineering Technology Chennai, Vellore Institute of Technology P. S. G. College of Technology, Coimbatore Madras Institute of Technology, ChennaiSCMS School of Engineering and Technology, Cochin Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute, Mumbai Anna University Jadavpur University
