Unfortunately there is a need of domicile certificate during applying for GUJCET and if one has no domicile certificate then he or she can't fill the form so outside student are not allowed to apply in exam GUJCET stands for Gujarat Common Entrance Test. It is a state level medical entrance exam conducted by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board to offer admission to aspirants in different medical fields such as BDS, MBBS, Physiotherapy, Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Nursing, Optometry etc. in different government and private colleges of Gujarat. Eligibility criteria for GUJCET:- -The candidate must have passed in Higher Secondary Certificate examination form a recognized board/university. -The candidate must have studied PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) as their subjects to apply for MBBS, B.Pharm and BDS courses. -The candidate must have secured at least 50% (45% for reserved category) marks for general category in aggregate in the examination. -The candidate age should not be less than 17 years to apply for the exam. -The candidate must be holding the domicile of Gujarat.

Unfortunately as per eligibility criteria outside Gujarat students cannot appear for GUJCET. Following is eligibility criteria:- All the candidate must be citizens of India.The candidates who are applying for GUJCET 2017 must be minimum of 17 years of age. Applicants must have passed class XII from State Gujarat Board. You must secure at least 60% in qualifying examination to appear in the test. You must have science subjects in class XII subjects such as physics, chemistry as compulsory subjects and mathematics/biology in their annual examination and 40% weight will be given for GUJCET 2017 examination. In case of other recognised boards, except Gujarat State Board i.e. Gujarat Higher Secondary the admission for the academic year 2017-18 shall be given on the basis of the merit list prepared by taking into 60% marks in physics, chemistry, mathematics/biology of the final examination conducted by any recognised board from March 2017 onwards and 40% marks will be counted from the GUJCET examination. Only in special provisions in certain universities/institutes, 50% of seats will be filled in All India Rank such as JEE Main scores and 50% GUJCET 2017 examination. These candidates have to appear in JEE Main 2017 examination after their class XII examination. From the year 2017, the above criteria will be applied to all the government, grant in aid and self-financed institutes in the state for government quota seats and management quota seats.
