An Air Hostess needs to be a person with a pleasing personality as the basic job for them is to take care of the passengers. The basic educational qualification required for Air Hostess is-: Either 10+2 or equivalent or a Graduation degree. Age should be below 25 years with a minimum height of 154.5-157.5 cms tall. The eyesight should be of 6/6 without glasses, though it may vary from one Airlines to another. Hindi, English is a must with any foreign language which will make an added advantage though not compulsory. Please note that most of the Airlines give more preference to graduates rather than under-graduates. Unmarried candidates are preferred mostly. You can join an Air hostess-training programme offered by various institutes in major cities as well as small cities.
