Yes, you can apply for the Economics in UGC NET Exam, if you have complete Masters in the Economics with around 55 % marks. The Eligibility for the reserved candidates is around 50% marks in the post-graduation. Economics is a productive subject that provides very good career opportunities in various fields. If you have completed the Masters or graduation in the Economics Subject, you can make career in the lectureship, business analyst and Economy surveyor too.

Yes, you can appear in UGC NET Exam in Economics after pursuing Masters in Economics. To appear in UGC NET the minimum 55% aggregate marks are required (5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates). To know more about the UGC NET Exam, you can visit here

You wanted to apply for Professor post, so there is no upper age limit for applying but you should have minimum 55% marks in your master's.

Yes, you are eligible for apply for it. But you have to remember that you must have the minimum qualifications for applying UGC NET. As minimum 55% for unreserved category and 50% for reserved category.
