For B.Tech lateral entry in LPU, you will require 60% marks in any stream of Diploma (Engineering) along with LPUNEST, which is an entrance as well as scholarship. Please check the following link

You should have more than 60% in your 12th board and minimum 60% in your diploma, then you can get admission in B.Tech easily and you are supposed to join from second year of B.Tech.

You can go for B.Tech (lateral entry). The eligibility of the same is: The candidate has to pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (engineering) (any stream) (3 years after class 10th), B.Sc.(non-medical) or B.Sc (computer science), BCA or equivalent, subject to qualify LPUNEST-2017. Or, In case marks scored in Diploma (engineering), B.Sc (Non-Medical), B.Sc (Computer Science) or BCA are 70% and above, then LPUNEST-2017 will be exempted and the candidate may apply for admission.
