You have to pass either in JEE Main paper 2 or NATA to get into B.Arch. Whereas, having NATA score gives you a wide choice in selecting the colleges. And, if you try solving some previous NATA question papers, you can easily pass NATA and get into B.Arch.

Most colleges admit through NATA and a few JEE. In simple words, there is no college in India where you can get admission in architecture without entrance. Either you have to clear NATA (National Aptitude Test for Architecture) or you need to clear JEE B.Arch for NIT's and IIT's) test for admission.

Yes you can. A few private universities invites applications for B.Arch without the requirement of NATA. But yes it is suggested that you give the exam as it can fetch you a good college. You can navigate through universities' websites, call on their toll free numbers in case you require information for admission process, fee structure etc. All the best.

No, it is compulsory that you clear NATA exam with at least 80 marks i.e 40%. Even if the college you are applying to takes JEE paper 2 scores, clearing NATA exam is a prerequisite.
