Admission to BIT for B.Tech programme is based on AIR rank in JEE Mains through CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board) / JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority). For more details please visit

As of BIT Mesra, it takes admission through JoSSA and the procedure is same as every other college. If you are getting your JEE Mains ranks in the cut-offs for the BIT Mesra, you can easily get the admission in BIT. The procedure to get admission here is same as any of the NITs.
