You must appear in IIT-JEE Mains. Good score in this will get you in NITs and other top engineering colleges. For IIT's and NIT's you have to write JEE Mains and Advanced. JEE Mains rank can fetch you a seat in NIT whereas rank in Advanced can give you chance to get enrolled in IITs. Also, take exams such as BITSAT, VITEEE and other state exams for other top colleges.
