Since NID exam is already conducted, you cannot give it this year, but you can definitely try next time if you are eligible. NID exam is conducted in the month of January, whereas JEE is conducted in the month of April. Nobody is stopping you, It's totally your choice that whether you wish to appear in any one or both exams. But, since it is very hard to crack JEE it will be difficult to prepare for both exams. It totally depends on your capability that whether you can prepare for both.
