Yes, you can apply for soldier GD if you have cleared your 10th grade and you're above 17 and 1/2 years. If you want to join as an officer then you can give NDA examination - (held twice a year) eligibility for NDA - 12th pass or appearing age limit- 16 and 1/2 to 19. Another way to join Army/armed forces is through CDS (Combined Defence Services). Eligibility- You must have Bachelor's degree with minimum 50% in aggregate.
