Of course, you can do aeronautical engineering. After completing any Diploma course in mechanical branch you can go directly to the 2nd second year after completing the Diploma. I completed Diploma and the joined aeronautical engineering college.

Once you complete Diploma in mechanical engineering, you can do aeronautical engineering through lateral entry in which you can get direct admission in the second year of the B.Tech course provided you must have completed your Diploma from an AICTE approved institution and you have to score at least 60% in Diploma course.
