Dear, Mathematics is becoming increasingly important in the study of economics and it is a fact that without maths foundation, you can't go far with economics. And for an honours course, majority colleges gives + 2 maths qualifying as precondition. But so as far my knowledge goes, eligibility precondition varies from institute to institute. You should better ask this query from your preferred institute and opt for a combination accordingly in +2 to reach your goal. Best wishes.
