You can get admission for Diploma in civil but on you 10th standard marks not on your 12th commerce percentage because you have not done your 11th-12th in Science. So, you want to waste your two years.

I think, you cannot do that and rather you can join Diploma on your class 10th basis, which will not be a problem at all. But, remember that the subject and the syllabus will be totally different from what you have studied.

No, you need to start studying physics, chemistry, maths rather than accountancy, business studies, economics, English, IP and Hindi. If you opted for commerce in class 12th then you need to take the board exam in the coming year. A commerce intermediate student is not able to do any sort of B.Tech or civil engineering course.
