Can I pursue hotel management after 12th?

Yes, you can. You only require a 12th pass certificate in any stream. After that there are various colleges under Central Government, State Government and Private, that has hospitality courses. There are generally two classifications for hotel management courses in India, 1. B.Sc. Hospitality and Hotel Administration course that is offered in most of the government. Colleges that are under NCHMCT 2. Bachelor of Hotel Management which is offered in most of the private colleges. The B.Sc. Is for 3 years and the BHM for 4 years. I would personally suggest you go for a B.Sc. Course in a government. College or also known as IHM and save 1 year. The degree is offered by IGNOU and NCHMCT takes care of the technical studies. Inorder to get selected for IHMs under NCHMCT, you have to appear for the JEE. There are around 21 Central IHMs in India and a handful of State IHMs aswell.
