The first thing to know or identify is where your actual interest is. Often people get confused between architecture, space design (which also covers exhibition, museum, retail space etc) and interior design. Apart from this, there is also a lesser known domain called Landscape designing. All these domains have great prospects and scope, specially conceptual spaces, centres of excellence and museums. If you really want to explore concepts and innovation in the area of space, be it wall art, installations, lighting, furniture, walk through, etc. I would suggest you to go for space design as it covers more avenues and widens your scope rather than going just for interior design which is a bit restricted. Architecture is an engineered avenue and as for landscape designing, it caters to designing of outdoors of a building as in the the green belt in area to be designed. You need to have a keen interest in plants and trees and any kind of flora.
