"You can pursue an MBA after your B.Com but my question is what is the hurry? As per me, you should finish your Bachelor's degree from on of the top colleges in your city or outside. Then work for a good 2-3 years then you'll know which area you want to specialise in, then go for an MBA. A Master's degree would add more value to you and your job when you have the adequate experience. Also, don't take B.Com just because that looks like the only option. There are other possibilities in the commerce field such as: B.B.I. (Bachelors in banking and insurance)-If you want to get into the banking and insurance field and study subjects like Banking laws, insurance, Taxation, business laws, cost accounting, etc. B.A.F. (Bachelors in Accounting & Finance)- If you have a good interest in accounting or like to know about the calculation behind a company's balance sheet then go for this course. This course will take you to careers like Accountant, investment banking, share markets etc. B.F.M. (Bachelors in Financial Markets)-This course focuses only on finance and if you have any interest in stocks, shares, economics, mutual funds, equity and debt of companies then make a career in Investment banking, debt securitisation, fund raising and much more with this degree. B.B.A. (Bachelors in Business Administration)- BBA is just like B.Com when it comes to the course structure. The only difference is that it gives a practical aspect to the course by having business seminars and additional practical coursework. Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) - Similar to BBA with few different subjects. This is basically for people for business management roles. You could also go for professional courses like CA, CFA, CS, ICWAI, Actuaries and so on.
