Actually, b-schools want to test your reasoning behind getting a MBA degree from them. So, if you have already done a MBA or say a PGDM from a college already, then you will have to give very strong motivation behind going for another similar degree. That being said, a lot many people go for two MBA's and do get selected, but it is very necessary to be able to explain why another MBA. A reason such as poor placement record will seem too superfluous. As a bit of personal advice, if the previous degree has costed you a lot of bucks and you are short on financial grounds, getting another MBA degree doesn’t seem economical.
