International business degrees are often required due to increasing globalization and the growing number of businesses currently competing on the international stage. Many diverse professions reflecting this need are available for individuals with an MBA in International Business. In addition to working within global companies that compete on international markets, graduates of international business MBA (IMBA) programs can also find careers in management, finance and in consulting. Graduates may also seek to work within international corporations in the travel and hospitality industry, which are continually dealing with both businesses and consumers from around the world. PayScale.com provided job titles and salary figures for those holding an IMBA as of February 2016. Most account managers with this degree earned from $46,469 to $100,671 annually at that time, while regional sales managers primarily earned between $51,064 -$122,339. The range was $50,161-125,850 for most business development managers with IMBAs. Marketing managers made between $48,906-$125,843 as of February 2016. Students may find an IMBA program that requires them to study abroad. This is most easily done by those students who are taking their MBA program at full-time status. Students may want to check their potential school's website to see if the school has international campuses or is affiliated with schools overseas.
