Now, if you are a general category student, you need to get a rank of about 3000 to get a branch at JU and for better branches you need to be in the top 1500. And to get 15002000 rank you should score at least 45% or above marks in WBJEE. And as this year IIEST, Shibpur is no longer taking admissions through WBJEE, hence you need to be in top 1500. Beyond 2000 may not guarantee you a seat, I guess.
