For technical entry in NDA, a candidate should have qualified class 12th with PCM. In Navy and Airforce, it is compulsory for a candidate to do B.Tech. In NDA entrance exam, there are exams for National Defence Academy and Indian Naval Academy. In NDA, there is a choice between B.A., B.Sc. and B.Tech and in INA there is B.Tech only. Navy has started a new programme for XII passouts who has scored more than 80% in class 12th and appeared for JEE Mains. This entry is called 10+2 B.Tech entry scheme also called TES entry.
