Correspondence, Part time and Distance learning are designed for working professionals to continue their education and obtain degrees of their choice while working. Education by correspondence is when institutes provide all reading materials to students. Students learn themselves, submit assignment and choose their timing to appear for examination. This mode of education is now being upgraded to Education by distance learning with use of technology. Education by distance learning is designed to impart learning via the medium of audio/ video lectures on internet and sharing of class notes material by faculty. Students have limited opportunity for interaction with faculty. Institutes upload audio/ video lectures on their portal which students use for learning at their own time. Part Time course are designed in a format where students do courses of their choice while continuing their job and attend classes during weekend or in evening. This gives opportunities to students to interact with teachers and help in learning.
