A CBSE student definitely has a greater chance of doing well in the JEE exam, since the CBSE syllabus is aligned with that of the JEE exam. On the exam day, however, it all comes down to the presence of mind and the knowledge possessed by the student in concern. There is not much difference in the syllabus between the two boards and the standards are more or less the same. Both are therefore, at the end of the day, on the same boat, and the student working harder and smarter has the upper hand. The board, therefore, has very little to do with his/her success in the JEE exam. Work hard and smart, and you'll get there. There are online classes on meritnation.com which makes use of notes along with lecture videos and practice tests, to ensure your success. There are various books and coaching institutes with experienced faculty members to guide you as much as possible. How you prepare is up to you, and you alone can make all the difference. All the best for the exams. Do let us know if there's anything we could do for you.
