Medical Electronics (which is mainly related to designing of medical equipment’s) will see a growth in the coming years due to the growth in health care business and new technology inventions in the area but as of now the career scope is decent and not very booming. As this is quite a new field in India, there are not many colleges offering this course. However, few of which you can check are: Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, MS Ramaiah University. After attaining a degree you would be able to find a job with Hospitals & various medical equipment manufacturers or after gaining some experience start your own manufacturing business. However, I would also like to add here that if possible you should go for more evolved fields like Electrical or Electronics which will also make you eligible for medical electronics field.
