Yes there is weightage given to every aspect of your profile. However you can compensate it with excellent CET score.

The admissions to 2 year fulltime MMS course were done through the admission process conducted by DTE for 2016-17. The admissions to 2 year fulltime MBA Finance course are done through the admission process conducted by the institute. For the MMS, you can refer to DTE website to check the admission criteria for last year. Academic scores were considered only in case of a tie. However, admissions for the academic year 2015-16 were conducted by the institute and some weightage was given to past academic scores. So, we would advice you to wait for this year's notification to get an exact answer to your query.
