Not necessarily. It depends on your PI though experienced candidates may get an advantage of being able to drive their interview.

One might feel that for admission in HRM course, work experience would be required but that is not the case here. XLRI promotes diversity and freshers are given equal opportunities as compared to a person having work experience. So don't worry about that. Not having work experience would not give you any demerit point. There is no per-requisite of work experience to do MBA in HR from XLRI. The average work experience of students in the HR batch 2017-19 is 22 months with a number of freshers without any work experience.
