Getting into NLUs is my dream and I decided to drop 1 year to prepare for the same, Is it a right decision?

Hi! its totally depends upon your interest if you want to make career in Law and want to work in corporate sector then please go for CLAT and if you will get top 5 National Law University then its good for you because you easily get Corporate job further if you want to make career in Litigation as well as in Judiciary then join any local college and make your career starting going into Lawyers chamber and gain practical experience of court room which is no one is going to teach you in Law School. So if you already made your mind set for corporate law then only go for NLU otherwise its not worth it. All the best :). .

In my personal opinion, it does not make sense to drop a year for CLAT to just prepare. If you are so interested, prepare well in the first go itself during the summer break post exams.
