Electronics and communication engineering is the one branch that has been rapidly growing in every field, its own development and development in providing people better job opportunities. You can say that this so called era of Information technology revolution is a result of electronics and communication engineering only. Electronics and communication engineering deals with the transmission of data and information. It also deals with the manufacturing and design of the concerned equipment. Some of the other areas that electronics and communication engineering deals with are improving the functionality and reliability of mobile devices and servers and setting up networks and equipment, process and maintenance of electronics gears and systems, etc. Every aspect of personal as well as professional life has rapidly seen the involvement of Electronics and Communication technologies. Medical, Defence, Computer, Data Transferring, etc., all are applying electronic and communication engineering to make their systems more robust and efficient. So you can see how the scope of electronics and communication engineering has changed drastically with time. And with the introduction of new applications and systems in this branch, its scope will definitely increase drastically. With the rapid evolution of computer age, electronics and communication engineering has introduced and mingled itself with every aspect of our lives. From basic wrist watch on our hands to laptops you can see how it affects our lives. I would definitely say that electronics and communication engineering has changed its aspects and evolved in a very positive way over time. And with the evolvement in technologies and introduction of new areas of study, the scope of electronics and communication engineering will definitely be better over time. Definitely, with its growing fields, areas, and applications in real life, it would even provide more jobs in the future and coming years. So, seeing the advancements in electronics and communication technologies, the scopes have changed and would change for better.

Yes, the scope for electronics and communication engineering can be witnessed from the change of communication ways and its technology from the large Nokia phones to slim Mi phones. The communication and electronic engineering has a evolved much provide the better to society and earning a lot from that, not only physically we can witness the change in mobile phones, lots of applications and the medium through which communicate but, if we talk about hardware system, then a gradual and a large change can be framed out of it. Moreover, electronics and communication according to me has better extent to the common people as compare to computer science and engineering because all the fields for example related to manufacture of lens, gadgets processors, hardware and the working system of any appliance system is directly or indirectly connected with the electronic engineering including transforming into modern society so this is what we can see in the professional Era. In the educational system, the syllabus of electrical and communication technology is also getting changed and making it more feasible for meeting the needs of industries.

Electronics and communication engineering graduate will have a good scope with time. Some of the factors favoring ECE scenario: Growing convergence between hardware and software. Growing product companies in India. Once we have product companies emerging, electronics engineer are in demand be it design or comprehensive testing. With increasing open sourcing and learning community online, learning costs reduce, which is an important factor for students in India. And hands on experience, on whatever little product you are developing is very important in progressing in engineering. Open source: one of the best things that have happened undercurrent is an open source community. When you have a great community to learn from and participate learning becomes enjoyable and fast on the internet. And, hand on experience on whatever little product you are developing is very important in progressing in engineering. However, it doesn't mean India will be a world leader in electronics anytime soon. One of the primary reasons for that we missed the semiconductor fabrication technology. But, I see things moving for good. One more thing is that every new concept in the computer science world like artificial intelligence, virtual reality machine learning needs to implemented using a machine and these machines are made by electronics and communication engineers or graduates. Electronics and communication engineering is the bridge between Software and Hardware made by the Great minds and help them to implement those ideas into the reality world. Hope it helps.
