There is a big demand in Malaysia for civil engineers and the scope is good, if you get into a good university and perform academically well. Malaysia needs at least 200,000 engineers by 2020 in order to attain the status of a developed nation according to some surveys, so you have a good future. Major companies include Gamuda Berhad, Ranhill Berhad and YTL Corporation. There are many foreign university campuses in Malaysia like: 1. University of Nottingham. 2. Monash University. So, you can check them as well in addition to their local universities.

You can do your degree from anywhere. You have to focus on the campus placements. All the best.
