SASTRA University is located in Thanjavur and it is accredited by NAAC. It is ranked 65 in the list of top colleges of India by 'the week'. It offers many courses out of which aerospace engineering is the course in which it offers about 126 to the students. It is well known for its good infrastructure knowledgeable faculty with experience of teaching and many facilities like Wi-Fi Sports Complex and labs with better equipments and machines. According to the reviews of the students Sastra University placement of B.Tech students in aerospace engineering are not very good. According to the students about 20 to 25% students get placed in the core companies and rest of the students gets placed in the non core companies which are mass recruiter like TCS,Accenture, etc. You have to study hard to be in that 20 to 25% students and to get good placements in core companies. About 80% students of aerospace engineering are placed in Core companies or in non core companies. Average salary provided to the students of aerospace engineering is about 3 lakh per annum. Highest salary provided to the students of aerospace engineering is about 11 lakh per annum. Hope it helps.
