How are the placements of B.Tech in automobile engineering in LPU?

Placements are not very good for automobile engineering students as companies visiting for this course are very few like 30-40 in a year. But, exposure is great here in LPU, and you will learn a lot in LPU.

Now, coming back to placements, in comparison to local private universities, LPU performs well but is nowhere near premier institutes like IITs, NITs or BITS. LPU had okayish placements for Automobile department. Very few students got placed from Automobile department. This is also because the branch has lesser opportunities compared to branches like CSE. Most of them were placed in IT roles. Average package was about 3LPA. So, placement scenario was poor for Automobile in LPU.
