Total 62 eligible B.Tech students got placed in campus selection which make overall 80% placement in chemical engineering branch in 2015-16 batch. Overall placement scenario: About 85% of the batch has been placed overall in all the branches. Institute of Technology Nirma University is located in Ahmedabad. Also, it is one of the best private colleges in Gujarat and is rank 74 in top colleges of India. It has many courses to offer out of which there is chemical engineering and provides about 120 seats for the same. It is the college which is known for its great infrastructure in whole Gujarat and better facilities provided by the colleges like Wi-Fi Sports Complex, etc. Nirma University is the college that focuses mainly on studies, therefore, you don't need to worry about the faculties and it also has the rule of 85% compulsory attendance. Placement is good for chemical engineering students. You will get decent chemical companies.You may even get placed in government chemical companies.You can get a maximum package of 5-6 lacs but not more than that. The mass package you may get is 3-4 lacs are from non-core companies like TCS or Accenture. But there is one rule which is not satisfactory that if you get one back, you aren't allowed to sit for the placements. Hope it helps.
