How are the placements of B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from MNIT?

Established in 1963, MNIT ranks well and is decent brand overall. Students of Chemical from MNIT are placed in software giants and Silicon Valley startups like Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Uber, Xiaomi, Airbnb, Adobe and many more Core chemical companies. Placements of chemical department are worth recommended. PPOs and some multiple offers were rolled out last year with decent stipends. Minimum Package observed was 3.3 LPA.Average package was more than 5 LPA and Japanese companies have offered maximum package of 22 LPA. Companies like Birla Carbon, Raymond’s, Brenntag, Ranbaxy, Torrent Pharma, Asian Paints, Reliance, Tata, Aditya Birla and Tata Chemicals recruited. The faculty and infrastructure looks decent. Overall some consistent performance has been recorded over years and is astonishing to see nearby more than 90% success rate. MNIT has been reputed college and should become emerging Engineering Institution soon with plenty of worthwhile statistics and return on investment. NITs are the premier engineering institutes located in various regions in India. Malviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur is one the NITs and is pretty known after the top three NITs. Malviya National Institute of Technology is ranked 70th by National Institutes Ranking Framework. Civil is as promising as other branches. There are many well-known core companies which visit MNIT to recruit GETs in the field of construction and design. Some of the worlds best design consultancies like ATKINS and SIEMENS have been frequent visitors and Indias top construction companies like L&T and Afcons too visit every year. 39 students from civil were placed. The placements are good in CSE, electrical, and ECE branches with their highest being 29 LPA, 16LPA, and 11.5 LPA respectively. Placements in other branches are decent and almost half of the students got placed with an average salary of more than 5 LPA in all other branches. In the chemical branch, the highest package offered was 7.8 LPA by Vedanta, the average package was 6.6 LPA and the lowest was 4.4 LPA. 49 students got placed till date and the placement session in my college will conclude on 31st May. Most of the students got placed in core companies like ONGC, IOCL, and BPCL. People underestimate chemical engineering but I have seen people of chemical engineering doing a great job as far as placements are considered. CAIRN India, Reliance Industries, and SRF are some of the core chemical engineering companies.
