Chemical engineering branch is that branch which has not made its roots into the India. If you have an interest or if you like chemical engineering branch then only you should choose it otherwise it would be very difficult for you to get a job or get placed in core companies. National Institute of Technology Suratkal is one of the best government colleges of India. It is known for its great infrastructure faculties with the knowledge and much-needed experience and better facilities like wi-fi, sports complex, and labs with better equipment and machines. NIT, Surathkal has many courses to offer out of which chemical engineering is one of the courses in which it offers 60 seats to the students. Placement of students from chemical engineering branch in NIT Surathkal is about average. Most of the students like about 70% of chemical engineering get placed. Out of which, most of the students recruited into the major IT companies like TCS Wipro Infosys, etc. There are only a few students who get selected in core companies and provide a salary of Rs 10 lakh per annum.
