The placements in NIT, Warangal for the chemical branch are nice though not as good as the core branches. The average placements for the respective branch are around Rs 10 lakhs per annum and the highest being Rs 21 lakhs, in the recent placement session. Among all NIT, chemical engineering is best in NIT, Warangal with well arranged and selective academic curriculum and a vibrant large campus. The labs there are very well and upgrading every single day to match up the modern chemistry and industrial requirement. The management working at NIT, Warangal is devoted and working continuously to provide quality education and skill training where there is no lack of funding from the government. So, in all chemical engineering is worth pursuing from NIT, Warangal than CSE. Thank you, hope it helped, feel free to ask anything related to academics.

NITs are the premier institutes for engineering after the IITs. NIT-Warangal is one of the top NITs and is known across India. According to the National Institute Ranking Framework, NIT-Warangal ranks 34th among the engineering colleges in India. For Chemical Engineering, last time (2016-17) out of 72 students who applied to placements from Chemical department, 53 students were placed meaning 73.6 percent placement for Chemical which is quite an impressive number. For Chemical, the minimum salary offered was 2.4 LPA. The average salary was 6.15 LPA and the maximum salary was 15 LPA. All these figures suggest pretty good placements at NIT-Warangal. Companies such as Reliance Industries, Dr.Reddy's Laboratories, Michelin tyres and some PSUs took part in the placement drive. Some students opt for Management/ Consulting companies like MU Sigma, Deloitte, IBM, etc. Source:

Placement in chemical engineering at National Institute of Technology is satisfactory. I mean it's not so good if you are talking about core job. Students of the chemical engineering branch practice a lot of computer programming languages to get a decent amount in any coding company. If you look at the past placement statistics, you will easily understand the current situation of chemical engineering branch. So if you are aiming for higher studies or research then you are welcome in the chemical engineering but if you are aiming to get the best score placement then this may not be a good choice. Highlights of Placement in chemical engineering branch at NIT Warangal: No. of students registered: 72 No of students placed: 53 Maximum salary offered: 15 Lacs per annum Lowest salary offered: 2 4 Lacs per annum Average salary offered:6.15 Lacs per annum List of core companies visited the campus to hire chemical engineering students: 1.Reliance 2.vedanta 3.Dr. Reddy's (didn't visit last year). 4.Trident limited (visits once in two years) 5.ITC(didn't visit last year) 6.HUL 7.Va Tech Wabag 8. Orient Cement #Non-core companies: 1 Wipro stars 2 City corps 3.Infosys 4 Tata consultancy services 5 Bank of America 6.Verity 7.Novartis and few more. I hope it will help you.

The placement stats of chemical engineering is very good this year. More than 80% of students are placed while 3-4 months are still left. Hence, we can expect about more than 95% placement this year. Among this, about 60% students were offered core jobs and the others in IT, business firms and engineering coaching institutes. Around 20 students also got the internship in which the highest stipend was offered by ITC (1.25 lacs/month) and the lowest by Pepsi (8,000/month). This college gives you the opportunity to engage with diversity from around the world. The placements are good. The campus is amazing and the weather is fine. Hyderabad is not too far to hang out. The cultural and technical fests are so happening and the food is good. The professors are friendly and the pointer matters a lot.
