Hey, Well, only one institute named as USCT offers B.Tech in chemical technology in GGSIPU. USCT started its B.Tech programme in the year 2012, so we don't have any clear idea of the placement stats. Well, for the first batch of 2012, 3-4 companies visited the campus for the recruitment process. The percentage of batch placed from both the Chemical and BioChemical branch was 50-60%. The companies that visited were from pharma background. Also, some students get off campus offers too. First of all, let me tell you that the placement solely depends upon your performance in that particular branch rather than that branch helping you. This branch is only at the university campus of GGSIPU and not in any other college of GGSIPU. This is a government college, the fee structure is normal, about INR 75000 per year. One of my friends started B.Tech in Bio-Chemical this year (2017) from USCT itself. Well, this is a government college. You will definitely get placed if you work hard. Overall, hard work is the key to success and your performance in the studies will decide your scope in this branch. I hope this helps you.
