Computer science and engineering is the best engineering branch of today. IT sector is growing rapidly. Talking about the placements of computer science engineering at College of Engineering-Pune, almost 90% ratio is seen every year. The average package of CSE Engineering at College of Engineering, Pune is around 7 to 9 LPA. Many MNCs like Amazon, Microsoft, Facebook, etc. visit here and offers good packages to computer engineers. Companies like Wipro, Future Group, Accenture, TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Adani group, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Samsung, Qualcomm, etc. takes students from here. Since CSE branch is best and evergreen, the placement ratio of this branch will also increase in future with good amount of packages by the companies because of the establishment of many IT companies in our country and developing technologies. So it is good to pursue CSE from a valued institute.

CS is a widely recommended branch here since the opportunities are abundant at this college. Moreover, several graduates have taken their place at different management and engineering levels with reputed companies like TCS, Wipro, INFOSYS, Accenture, Oracle, IBM, ONGC, TATA ELXSI, TCS, Amazon, Vodafone, Colgate, Morgan Stanley all with various business analytics and coding as well as business intelligence cum strategic roles, etc. Last year, the average package was 4 LPA and highest salary offered was 16 LPA by Microsoft. College of Engineering Pune is one of the best private colleges in Pune and has various undergraduate programs to offer to it students which are one of a kind and promise for the best of the placements in the city. Now that you're asking about computer science branch, I feel glad to inform you that the college makes the best of the placements in the same branch and has a number of companies coming in for recruiting computer science students throughout the year for jobs and internships as well. The average placement package for computer science branch for the year 2017 batch was around Rs 5 lakhs and the highest package obtained by the student in computer science is Rs 29 lakhs by Amazon which happened to take only 3 students from the whole college. With this, you can expect the total placement percentage of the batch to be around 95% where most of the placements and offers are made by IT companies being renowned mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and many other.
