Greetings from SHIKSHA. The placements at NIT Tiruchirappalli for Electronics and Communication Engineering is seen very best. Almost around 95% every year. This credit goes to training and Placement Cell department of NIT Tiruchirappalli. The average package is around 9 to 11 lakhs here. ECE Engineering is among the evergreen fields of Engineering. Many companies take part in Placement Cell at NIT Tiruchirappalli. Companies like DLF, L&T, ONGC, Adani Group, Aditya Birla Group, Goldman Sachs, Google, Hindustan Unilever, ITC, OLA Cabs, Microsoft, Oracle, Raymond, Arvind, Volvo, Mercedes, Bosch Group , Shell, Snapdeal, Stayzilla, Morgan Stanley, TSMC, etc takes Students from here. Many of the students are getting very good packages in ECE Engineering Branch. Now a days placements of core Engineering branches will increase like for Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, CSE , ECE , EEE etc with very good amount of packages. Especially in IITs and NITs the packages will be always better and higher than previous year because more and more companies take part in Placement Cell. Many IT companies take EC Engineers with good amount of packages.

In 2015, the percentage of students placed was 95 percent. For the ECE department, it was 95 percent in 2016 and 90 percent in 2017. The average salary for ECE engineering lies around Rs 12 lakhs (approx.). Moreover, some students also opt for roles in IT/CS, Consulting, Financial marketing, management as such. In these sectors, we have some really big names like Amazon, Google, Facebook in tech and Credit Suisse, EY, PWC, Morgan Stanley, Delloite in Finance/management role. The dedicated training and placement cell of NIT, Trichy is highly known for its rankings given below:Highest package was 88 LPA by Google. Ranked 12th among 'Top 100 Engineering Institutes for Research and Teaching' in India by National Institutional Ranking Framework (MHRD) in 2016.

NIT Tiruchirappalli is one of the prestigious institute established by the Government of India in Trichy which is generally called as Tiruchirappalli located in the state of Tamil Nadu. Placement record is good here. Here are a few data about the placement in ECE branch:- In 2014 Batch: Total of 222 company visited the campus and 82 B.Tech students placed which makes 92.2% of the placement record with the highest package of Rs 32 lakh per annum. Placements is one of the things NIT Trichy is famous for. Last year the overall percentage of placed student from UG was 96.7 percent. From the ECE department 98.7 percent students were placed. Numerous companies visit NIT Trichy for placements and it includes some big-shots like Facebook, Google, Intel, Samsung,Amazon and even some famous banks like Morgan Stanley, HBSC, Credit Sussie. Students from circuital branches including ECE can appear for placements of companies even in the sectors like IT, CS, Banking apart from the core companies. Some of the best companies which ECE students looked out for were Samsung, Bharti Airtel, Motorola,Dell etc. Generally speaking if you have a decent CGPA and some interpersonal skills you are sure to be placed in NIT Trichy. But NIT Trichy is much more than placements. Here you will learn more things outside the class than from textbooks. Placements shouldn't be the only thing you look for in the college.
