In comparison to local private universities Amity performs well but is nowhere near premier institutes like IITs, NITs or BITS. Many students from EEE got placed in 2016 (criteria - CGPA). The average package was around 4-5 LPA while the maximum package was around 10 LPA which only 3-4 students could get. Most of the students were placed in IT Roles as such. Few went for consulting too. Some companies visiting were Capgemini, Fico, Oppo, TATA technologies, etc. So the placement at Amity was average.

Placements of this college is quite good as this college is the one of the best in it's region as in this college many big companies like: IBM SAPIENT NITRO CAPGEMINI HYUNDAI NLB SERVICES THINK & LEARN BIRLA SOFT ICONMA AGLASEM ITC HOTELS ZYCUS STRATBEANS L & T HAFELE NTT DATA FICO Scope Telecom Pvt. Ltd. Tex Zippers IGATE Genpact Think & Learn Good Through Tech Mahindra.

Amity School of Engineering and Technology is one of the best private colleges in India. It offers many courses for the students but one of the courses that Amity School of Engineering offers is electrical and electronics engineering. Amity School of Engineering and Technology is known for its infrastructure, facilities, laboratories, faculty and campus and it provides the most basic hands on experience by providing the students with equipment on instruments field labs and provides area and funding for the students who want to take part in research and competition. Companies visiting Amity School of Engineering and Technology for electrical and electronics engineering are as follows: BirlaSoft | CapGemini | FICO | Hafele | Hyundai | IBM | NTT Data | Oppo | Sapient | Tech Mahindra | Think and Learn | Wipro | Zycus The above mentioned companies are the companies that come frequently in the campus placement of Amity School of Engineering and Technology, there are also many local companies too. Average package provided by the Amity School of Engineering and Technology is about 5 to 6 LPA. Highest package in EEE is about 14 LPA. Due to the lack of jobs in electrical and electronics engineering most of the students gets placed in non-core jobs.
