If you are getting a better brand then electronics and instrumentation engineering from KIIT School of Engineering, you should consider trying for that in the first place. This is because the number of core electronics and Instrumentation Engineering companies in India is very less and those visiting the campus during the placement season or even lesser. Therefore there is a great probability that you might end up in one of the mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant. If you are really passionate about the branch and you want to remain in the core industry field, you should consider doing your undergraduate programme from the more reputable institutes like IIT'S, OR NIT'S. Since it is somewhat difficult to make it in there one might also consider doing master's programmes from somewhere abroad as the number of opportunities abroad are a lot more than in comparison to India. One can expect an average placement of about 3.5 - 4 lacs (that too in the mass recruiters) at a maximum Cheers. Hope this helps.
