The placement from TNAU for food processing engineering is not up to the mark as the placement from agricultural as well as farm related streams. The companies are definitely visiting the campus but students getting placed in the stream are not even around 80%. As a gesture of advice, it is more worth to take admission in private institute from CSE or IT which will going to reward you more than the requested college and stream. For the food processing, engineers are hired by the company for testing the quality and to find the cost cutting measures to manufacture a quality product but this stream is unable to find a major scope and for this purpose, companies prefer hiring the students from foreign universities. From TNAU, the average placements are 3 lakhs and highest may getting upto 6 lakhs. At last, take a wise decision. Thank you, hope it helped. Feel free to ask more queries.
