As per 2015- 16 placement records, 100% of students have been placed. 75% have been placed at a package above Rs 5 lakhs per annum. Highest package offered is Rs 65 lakhs per annum and the average is Rs 6.6 lakhs per annum. Number of companies that have visited: 69 The minimum salary was Rs 3.2 lakhs per annum and maximum was Rs 27 lakhs per annum. The Indian Institute of Information Technology-Allahabad (IIIT-A) is one of the best IIITs and is a better option than 90 percent of NITs in terms of placement and coding environment. The campus is in Allahabad. Information Technology (IT) is the best branch here. Placement is just too good here. Students from IIIT-Allahabad also managed to get jobs in Google, Facebook, Amazon and many other reputed firms. Overall placement statistics are: Number of registered students: 370 Number of students placed: 362 Minimum salary offered: 3.2 lakhs per annum.
