Some placement highlights for mechanical engineering are as follows:- placement in core companies is 54.35 %,17.39% students placed in software companies, 26.08% placed in IT /consulting and finance. Rest 2.17 % placed in local companies. There are 88% placements in mechanical engineering with an average package of Rs 10.1 Lacs per annum.

Indian Institute of Technology-Roorkee is also known for it’s good placement, and better job opportunity and it is one of the oldest university in India.

It is an Indian premier institute and the IIT Roorkee has the best placements of the mechanical engineering and the highest pack for this branch is 78 LPA and the average pack is 12.3 LPA plus perks and the big companies like Honda, Hero, Bajaj etc. Visit this college regularly.

Greetings from SHIKSHA. Mechanical Engineering is very good and evergreen field Talking about the placements of Mechanical Engineering at IIT Roorkee is, almost 100% ratio is seen every year. The average package of Mechanical Engineering at IIT Roorkee is around 8 to 10 lakhs per annum. Many Multinational Companies visit here and offers the good packages to Mechanical Engineers. Companies like Bosch Group, Reliance Industries, Mahindra Group, Welspun, Larsen and Toubro, Tata Steel, Adani Group, Aditya Birla Group Arcelor Mittal, HPCL, BPCL, Mahindra and Mahindra, Ford, General motors etc. Since Mechanical Engineering Branch is best and evergreen, the placement ratio of mechanical branch will also increase in future with good amount of packages by the companies. Talking about the IITs, all IITs placement ratio will also increase or the packages will increase because IITs are the top most Engineering Institute worldwide. So, many companies will take part in campus placement at IITs for quality engineers. Every year there are many vacancies in government sector and Large Scale Industries for Mechanical Engineers.
