Greetings from SHIKSHA. Mechanical Engineering is core branch of engineering. When it comes to the talk of Placements it comes second after CSE and IT Branch. The placements at National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli of Mechanical Engineering is really very good. The placement ratio is almost around 95 % every year. The average package is around 10 to 12 lakhs per annum for Mechanical Engineering Branch at here. Since, mechanical engineering is among the evergreen fields, the placements of this branch will increase with good amount of packages. Companies like TATA Motors, Tech Mahindra, Reliance Industries and L&T are the bulk recruiters. Other than these companies, many companies like ITC, Maruti Suzuki, Ford, General Motors, Wipro Group, Ultratech, Vedanta Group, Bosch group, ONGC, NTPC, Eicher, Adani Group etcakes students from here. This all credit goes to Training and Placement Cell Department of NIT, Tiruchirappalli. So, thus it is really good to do Mechanical Engineering from Reputed Institute or University if someone is really interested in this and is in the search better packages and further studies. So, thus the placement ratio of NIT Tiruchirappalli is almost 100 % and in future it will be like this only for Mechanical Engineering and other top Engineering fields.
