Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology is among the best national institutes in India to pursue mining engineering. None of the students of the batch of 2017 from mining engineering of Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology was left without a job and so the branch offers hundred percent placements in the college. Some of the companies that show up for the placement drive, especially for recruiting mining engineers, along with the number of students recruited in the same company are: Lnt Ecc-1 Coal India Ltd-3 Nykaa-1 ZS Associates-1 Mu sigma-1 Infosys-1 3DPLM-1 MOIL Ltd-5 Some students even wish to get placed at corporate companies that show up during the placement drive but only a few are allowed to sit for placements in same. Otherwise almost every student gets placed at Coal India, and the interview is just another formality. With this I would highly recommend a student who would wish to pursue mining engineering to get admission to this college.
