Placements: As the placements for this semester are not done yet, I'm stating previous year placements stats. Last year, more than 90% of EEE branch students got placed on campus. Most of them were placed in IT companies or finance or consultancy. Out of around 90 students of EEE, around 10-12 people got placements in core companies like Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Cyprus semiconductors, general electrics, Infosys, etc. There is a similar branch called ENI (Electronics and Instrumentation), which has almost same placement stats as EEE. BITS-Pilani has an internship programme of 5 months as a whole semester called PS2, which helps students to get placed before sitting for the campus placements. Out of 90, about 20-30 students get placed through this program only. So for EEE branch in BITS, placement is even better than most of the IITs, and similarly for computer science. Other: BITS-Pilani has a dual degree plan. If you don't have enough score in BITSAT to get a good branch, then you can select any dual degree branch which has a lower cut-off in dual degree. You will be doing two degrees in 5 years (BE+M.Sc). M.Sc branch will be given to you at the time of allotment. After the first year, you will get your branch for BE degree. In general, it is easier to get Computer Science or other good branches in dual degree. And if you are getting into BITS-Pilani with a dual degree, don't let it go for NITs.

Highest Package for Electronics branch was 1.4 crores and average was 5lakhs witj minimum of 4 LPA. The average salaries and the deviation in them suggest that people can get very low packages or very high packages. Companies like Sabre, Amazon, Flipkart, ZS and many more have come for placements. And percentage of students placed is very high. The ones who do not bet placed are actually the ones who are research minded and want to pursue higher studies. 99% placement guarantee. Almost all streams people get placed. Good companies like Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, etc. come and many core companies like Goldman, Sachs, Gannon, Dunkerley, Seimes, Benz, Honda, Morgan, Stanely, Infosys. Many companies visit campus.package range is from 4 lakh to 25 lakh per annum for other branches. CS gets most offers and 10 percent of them get in crores with variable ESOP and other perks. Overall, it is an amazing branch for placements. Best of luck.
